Who we are

Interior Design Flooring is a Virginia Class A general contractor based in Sterling, Virginia. Our license number is Virginia Class A General Contractor #2705162130. If you have a question about anything on this page, write to info.interiordesignflooring@gmail.com or call 571-233-5133.

What we collect

We collect information in one way only: you type it into a form on this site and send it to us. We do not buy contact lists, and there is no advertising tracker on this website. We do keep simple, anonymous visit counts, described below.

The forms ask for some or all of the following, depending on which one you use:

• Your name, phone number, and email address
• The property address the work concerns
• What kind of work you want, your budget range, and your timeframe
• Anything you write in the details box
• Photographs or PDFs you choose to attach

Our server also records the IP address and browser user-agent the submission arrived from, alongside the submission itself. That is there so we can tell a real enquiry from an automated one.

Each submission also notes which page of this site you sent it from, the first page you visited, and the website that sent you here, if any (for example, a search engine). That tells us which parts of the site are useful to people.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, your date of birth, social security number, bank or card details, or income and employment information. No form on this site collects any of those. If financing is discussed, that happens directly with the lender on their own secure system, not here.

What we do with it

We use it to answer you and to price and carry out your work. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing.

When you send a form, two things happen:

• The submission and any files you attached are written to encrypted object storage on Cloudflare's network, so an enquiry cannot be lost to a failed email.
• A notification is emailed to our own staff addresses through Resend, our email delivery provider.

We share information with other people only where the work requires it — for example, giving a subcontractor the site address so they can attend — or where the law requires it of us.

Other companies involved in running this site

• Cloudflare hosts this website and stores form submissions. As the host, it processes the network requests your browser makes, which includes your IP address.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views, which pages are visited, and roughly how fast they load. It does not use cookies, does not follow you across other websites, and gives us totals rather than a record of any one person.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form was sent by a person rather than a script. It runs in your browser when you use a form.
• Resend delivers the notification emails to us and, where we send one, the confirmation email to you.
• Google Maps is embedded on our home and contact pages so you can find the showroom. Loading that map is a request to Google, and Google receives it under its own privacy policy. Nothing you type into our forms is sent to Google.
• Google Reviews shown on this site are fetched by our server from Google, not by your browser. No information about you is involved.

Cookies and browser storage

We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. We run no advertising on this site, and the visit counting we do use works without cookies.

When you tap one of our phone, text, or email links, or send a form, your browser tells our server which kind of contact it was and which page you were on. Nothing that identifies you is included: no name, no number, no IP address is stored with it. We use the totals to see which pages lead people to get in touch.

We do use your browser's own storage for a few small things: remembering that you closed the offer bar at the top of the page, remembering that you closed the offer pop-up, and, for the length of your visit, the first page you landed on and the website that sent you, so a form you send can mention them. The first two never leave your device. The last is sent to us only as part of a form you choose to submit. Clearing your browsing data removes all of them.

Cloudflare and Google may set their own cookies as part of the security check and the embedded map. Those are theirs, governed by their policies, not ours.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that become jobs are kept as part of the project record, because we need them for warranty, tax, and licensing purposes. Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept while there is a reasonable prospect of the conversation resuming, and are removed after that.

Your choices

Write to info.interiordesignflooring@gmail.com and ask us to send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct something that is wrong, or delete it. We will do it. If we are required to keep something — a completed contract, for instance — we will tell you what and why.

We only email you about your own enquiry or your own job. If we ever start sending anything else, every message will carry an unsubscribe link.

Children

This site is for people arranging construction work on a property. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change how any of this works, we change this page and update the date at the top of it.
